Java Bali and at Glance

Java island and Bali island are the main tourist destination in Indonesia. The holiday trip to Java and Bali is the most highlight for travelers. Java island with its history has a closed relationship with Bali. The Hindu Buddha era was centralized at Java island until 9th century which moved to the east side of Java and Bali.
Java island
The fertile soil of the island leads people to come and inhabit through the centuries. The social system collaborated with foreign influences from India, Middle east and even from the west, created nation's system as a monarchy rulers known as Syailendra kingdom (Buddhist clan) and Sanjaya kingdom (from Hindu clan). The two dynasties were the rulers of the country since 4th-12th century which were centralized in Java island and Sumatra island.
The kingdoms area covered the Indonesia area today and even Cambodia (it was Syam).of Indonesian history took place on Java. It was the center of powerful Hindu-Buddhist empires, the Islamic sultanates, and the core of the colonial Dutch East Indies. Java was also the center of the Indonesian struggle for independence during the 1930s and 40s. Java dominates Indonesia politicallyeconomically and culturally.
Bali island
Even Balinese had an indigenous faith and customs, they got influences from outsider mainly the old Javanese and Indian. Balinese culture was strongly influenced by Indian, Chinese, and particularly Hindu culture, beginning around the 1st century AD. The name Bali dwipa ("Bali island") has been discovered from various inscriptions, including the Blanjong pillar inscription written by Sri Kesari Warmadewa in 914 AD and mentioning "Walidwipa". It was during this time that the complex irrigation system subakwas developed to grow rice. Some religious and cultural traditions still in existence today can be traced back to this period. The Hindu Majapahit Empire (1293–1520 AD) on eastern Java founded a Balinese colony in 1343. When the empire declined, there was an exodus of intellectuals, artists, priests, and musicians from Java to Bali in the 15th century.
